Kagamine Rin: Rendezvous, Rendezvous?

Here's one of my favourite shots from the indoor shoot that I had with my mom last week. This cosplay is so much fun, I love it a lot! ^^ It's so comfy and fun to pose in. I'm also really proud of how I did my makeup this time around. I usually foundation my lips, but the times I've worn this, I've felt too lazy to go through the trouble of doing that (plus it's winter, so my lips are so dry which looks gross with foundation ... *shudders*), so I decided to go with lip gloss, which I must say has worked really well! Also, since Matryoshka's aesthetic is so demented, I went a little crazy with the eyeliner, adding drawn-on eyelashes as well as thicker lines, which again, ended up working quite well.

Just a bit on the construction of this; the hoodie was originally a plain yellow hoodie. After looking at many references, I put together a pattern for the mouth and eye. I sewed on the monster face using the leftover vinyl from my Maka boots (white) and the black from my default Rin. The dots around the eyes are sequins, each sewn on by hand (fuuuuun stuff). As for everything else, the skirt I had before, as well as the shoes (LOVE those shoes ). The gloves were from the dollar store (they're the same kind that I used for my Allen Walker hand - now I have two spare right hand gloves hanging around XP). The socks are my Rukia socks... Aaaaand that's pretty much it!

Getting to cosplay from Matryoshka has been a dream come true and I look forward to sharing more photos!
