(It's basically customary that all Adventure Time cosplayers do that, so... Sorry not sorry.
Despite being sick for the past week, I managed to briefly recover in time to attend a new cosplay event organized by *falcona
. The day, known as Cosplay Day (not as in the national day whose date keeps changing), was essentially a day of photo and videoshoots. It was a lot of fun getting photos and hanging out with ~Sparks-McLain
and my younger cousin, Shane, who I lent me Red cosplay to!

I really want to say that I am so unbelievably happy with how Fionna came out this time. When I first debuted her last month, I was alright with how the cosplay looked, but I still felt that there was a lot I could have improved. This time around, I improved some of the details and am so proud of how the cosplay looks now - seeing it revamped has really improved my confidence as a cosplayer! New additions include Fionna's ruby sword, which I wanted to make the first time around, but ran out of time. I decided to put it together the night before Cosplay Day, and even though it needs to be touched up a bit, I'm really happy with how it looks considering the circumstances (it's also really fun to pose with and adds a nice burst of colour to the cosplay photos)! I also added black straps to my high heels. These were attached using tape, so they kept coming off during the day, but even so, I'm happy with how they look! My mom added some stuffing to my backpack since I was unsure whether or not it looked plump enough. Stuffing it was definitely a good call. And last but not least, I styled my wig a little differently this time. Originally, I parted the hair the opposite way from which Fionna's hair is actually parted (bangs swooping up towards the left) because doing it that way didn't appear to be possible when I first tried. However, with the determination to get the hair right, I decided to try it again and managed to part it the right way! I am so happy with how the wig looks now, parting the hair the opposite way adds some really nice volume and flip to the hair!
Anyway, so SO happy to share this! More photos to come as I slowly get back on top of things!Taken @
