In Memory

A bit of a heavier post, but I wanted to share this. Given Monty's recent passing, I wanted to do some kind of a tribute when I cosplayed Yang. I originally thought of carrying around flowers during that day of the con, but my classmates suggested that wearing a white rose would be a better idea, and easier for going around a con, so that's what I ended up going with. I wanted to make sure I got a shot like this when it came to getting photos that day, and I have to say it came out exactly as I'd envisioned it.

It was difficult for me to finish my Yang, because I was just about done with it right around when Monty passed away. I was a weepy mess sewing the last few pieces of this cosplay the week before the con. However, I'm definitely happy that I managed to finish it, and that I got the opportunity to pay homage to his work.
