Alright, it's the moment we've all been waiting for (ok, well maybe just I've been waiting for), because you know it ain't Shingeki cosplay without some good old-fashioned intense raw emotion! :'D
No, but seriously, one of the things I've been most excited about doing all this SNK cosplay has been getting to do heavier photo concepts and exploring the emotional struggles of the characters. It's something I've always wanted to do, but for some reason never have despite intense emotional scenes usually being my favourites in a lot of series.
During my second Christa shoot, LifeAsAnArtist joined me in her Sasha cosplay. It was really nice getting to have someone to play off of, not to mention Sasha (yup that's her real name too) had a lot of good photo ideas for the two of us (this being one of them) that ended up making most of my favourite shots of the two of us. I'm seriously so happy about how this photo came out. While we were posing, Fantasyrhia who was our lovely assistant, eventually paused and blurted out "ok, this is one of those moments where I have to tell myself 'it's ok, it's only acting - she's not really crying' because oh my gosh, Anya, you were getting me concerned." Mission accomplished, or mission accomplished? :'D
