Ladies and gentlemen, the first photo from Tsukino-Con 2013. Boy, am I tired. Also, I'd like to say how happy I am that I finally have proper Homestuck cosplay photos to show you all. I know I've gained a lot of views for my Homestuck photography and stuff, but I haven't had much in the way of cosplay to present... Until now!

This was my first Homestuck convention cosplay experience ever, and OH MAN was it amazing. I've wanted to get in on the Homestuck mob fandom action for a while and certainly got quite the Homestuck experience over the weekend. Tsukinostucks are the sweetest, they were all so nice and gave me so many kind compliments for my cosplay. >w< Thanks a lot, you all made my Friday and also made me feel even more happy to be a Homestuck.

So yeah, here's Kanaya! I am so happy with how she came out; strutting around the convention was seriously the best, I don't think I've felt so glamorous in a cosplay before. Quite unexpectedly, cosplaying Kanaya has landed up there with cosplaying Maya and Vanellope, which says a lot - I just had so much fun as her! And having the chainsaw was awesome, since it almost didn't happen. I wasn't confident in whether using cardboard and foam would work, but a week and a half before the con, I decided to go for it anyway despite my doubts and oh goodness, the result is the lightest and sturdiest prop I have ever made. I shall never doubt cardboard again.

More photos to come! I'll talk more about this cosplay later, but for now I intend on getting some photos of all my new cosplays from the weekend uploaded. I also need to get back to everyone since I haven't been in the dA loop all that much due to the pre-con prep, among other things.
